Education system in Britain






As an international student studying in UK, we should know the education system here in UK.
Last class, we have learnt plenty of thing related to the education.
British education system has five stages:
The first stage is 3 to 5 years of kindergarten education,

The second phase is 5-11 years of elementary education,

The third stage is 11-16 years of high school education. 5 years 16 for compulsory education phase of laws and regulations. School-age children must be responsible for admission, by the state must tuition, books and necessary supplies. 16-18 years old is more high school or college preparatory (middle), for the transition to the university,

The fourth stage for university education. Generally, from 18 began to read undergraduate course in 3-4 years (medical for 5 years), can be obtained a bachelor's degree. Master usually 1-2 years, the doctor for three years - 5 years,

The fifth stage for 16 years later to education. Young and adults, including the vocational education (excluding normal university has), half day, and the spare time. The length of schooling in all departments and professionals are not the same.

Britain is a country which has a long history. Its education system changed a lot after hundreds of years of evolution, quite complete and complex. Generally be divided into three stages: (complete) Education Compulsory Education, wear Further (complete) and Higher Education (complete) over. The education stages of Britains education are devided by age and academic degree,We must fully understand the difference between two kinds of education system, accurate judgement of the current education level by yourself in English education system which position. According to the characteristic of oneself to choose the appropriate course and reasonable arrangement plan of study.

Maybe we can learn the advantages of UK education system, and improve ours in the future.

British food

The Great Britain has its yummy food. The traditional food are special and we never heard before.






















Traditional British dishes have had competition from other dishes over the years. Despite this, if you visit England, Scotland or Wales, you can still be served up the traditional foods we have
been eating for years.

Yorkshire Pudding
This dish is not usually eaten as a dessert like other puddings but instead as part of the main course or at a starter.
Yorkshire pudding, made from flour, eggs and milk, is a sort of batter baked in the oven and usually moistened with gravy.
The traditional way to eat a Yorkshire pudding is to have a large, flat one filled with gravy and vegetables as a starter of the meal. Then when the meal is over, any unused puddings should be served with jam or ice-cream as a dessert.Recipe

Fish and chips are not normally home cooked but bought at a fish and chip shop ("chippie" ) to eat on premises or as a "take away"
